Mr. Mulenga MutatiDone
Mr Mulenga Mutati is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) with vast experience across the United Kingdom and mainland European insurance markets. Mulenga began his career at AIG Europe where he rose up the ranks from an intern to a Senior Actuarial Analyst, providing actuarial reserve reviews for Casualty lines of business across 20 European countries.
To broaden his experience, Mulenga transitioned from an in-house actuary to a consulting actuary, working with two of the Big 4 consultancies in London and being promoted to Senior Manager, before he relocated back to Zambia. Mulenga’s international experience and expertise has proven to be a strong positive in the Zambian insurance and pensions market. He is regularly called upon by regulatory authorities to provide technical input on key regulations and policies underpinning the pensions and insurance sectors. Mulenga is the Signing Actuary for a number of pension schemes and is also the Appointed Actuary for two of the largest insurance companies in Zambia.
Mulenga is also the current President of the Actuarial Society of Zambia where he works actively to raise awareness of the profession, as well as build partnerships with other professional services societies, to bolster the society’s influence within the Zambian market and the wider region.
