Nathan De Assis MCIS, has over 37 years of professional experience in financial services and business development. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy from University of Zambia and a Masters Degree in Banking and Finance for Development Milan Italy. He is also a Fellow of the Zambia Institute of Bankers and Financial Services. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments (UK).


He has worked for the Treasury Department of Zambia Consolidated Copper Mines – Mutondo House in Kitwe, Accounts officer at Finance Bank Zambia in Kitwe and as a Lecturer and Head of Department Accountancy and Finance at the Copperbelt University-School of Business.


He has also worked with developmental Projects that have been funded by USAID that have included Human Resources Development Program (HRDP) as an MSME Trainer of Trainers Under Clark Atlanta University; Livingstone Tourism Linkages Program; CopperLink Program and BizAIDS Zambia. He served as the Country Director of International Executive Service Corps (IESC) a US based development organisation.


He was involved in the establishment of Zambia Chamber of Small and Medium Businesses (ZCSMBA) in 2000, an apex body to serve the interest of small and medium businesses in the country. He is a 1995/1996 USAID Entrepreneurship Research Fellow at Jackson State University Mississippi, USA. He is a Co-Founder of Equity Capital Resources Plc a securities and investment banking firm and ECR Asset Management Limited a pension fund investment company. His areas of interest include Financial Planning, Investment Planning and Wealth Management, Business Development, Insurance, Banking and Financial Services among others.
