Anthony Dumingu is currently serving as the Social Security Director at the Ministry of Labour and Social Security in Zambia. He has been actively involved in strengthening policy formulation and programming in social protection. His work includes collaborating with government agencies, civil society, cooperating partners, and academia to enhance social protection measures. He has been instrumental in the recent pension reforms in Zambia including the revision of retirement age, introduction of the pre-retirement pension benefit, revision of penalty rate, development of strategy on extension of social security coverage. His role entails policy advice on public sector pension schemes, work injury scheme and the national health insurance scheme in recent years.
