Manager – Client Pension Consulting & Trustee Services
We are a leading pension and governance consulting organization seeking to recruit a Manager – Client Pension Consulting & Trustee Services to lead the delivery of high-quality pension advisory and trustee governance services to its client pension schemes.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic pension consulting, governance advisory, and trustee support services. The role involves close engagement with trustees, boards, sponsors, and regulators to ensure effective governance, regulatory compliance, and adoption of best practices in pension management.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide pension consulting and governance advisory services to pension scheme trustees, boards, and sponsors
- Support trustee boards in fulfilling their fiduciary duties and governance responsibilities
- Advise clients on pension legislation, regulatory compliance, and governance frameworks
- Manage a portfolio of pension scheme clients and act as a trusted advisor
- Lead trustee meetings, governance reviews, policy development, and board evaluations
- Liaise with regulators, actuaries, administrators, fund managers, auditors, and other service providers
- Prepare and review governance reports, board papers, and compliance assessments
- Identify opportunities for additional consulting, trustee services, and training solutions
- Provide leadership, technical guidance, and mentorship to consulting and trustee services teams
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, Economics, Law, Business Administration, or a related field
- Professional qualification such as CIFA, CPA, CFA, Actuarial, Law, or recognized pension certification will be an added advantage
- Minimum 7–10 years’ relevant experience in pension consulting, trustee services, fiduciary management, or regulated financial services
- Proven experience working with trustee boards and governance structures
- Strong understanding of pension regulations and trustee governance
